The HSE portal was founded by Mr. Khalid Ahmed, a HSE Supervisor and trainer with more than 8 years of oil and gas experience. Khalid has a Master of Science in Safety and Risk Management from the University of Strathclyde; a NEBOSH Environmental Diploma (NED); a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Khartoum; HABC Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) and an International Computer Driving License (ICDL). In addition, Khalid is a chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) ; a Non-Chartered member of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) ; an approved NEBOSH IGC tutor and IOSH trainer.
